A decision you can point to.
When a customer accepts a quote, the portal records who accepted, the exact wording they confirmed, which version of the PDF they saw and when. Revisions ask for a fresh acceptance and keep the earlier one.

Who it is for
Contractor Connect is built for one-van and small-team businesses, not for main contractors with a back office. If you write quotes, send drawings and take photos on site, it fits.
How it works
Four steps the first time. After that, each new project is a PDF upload and an invitation.
01
Export it from your quoting software as a PDF. Contractor Connect reads the reference, date and total for you to check.
02
Pick the customer, confirm the details, and publish. Only a published version is ever visible in the portal.
03
They open the invitation, create a login with that email address and land in a portal that carries your branding.
04
The acceptance is recorded with their name, the wording they agreed to and a fingerprint of the PDF. Then documents, photos and updates follow in the same place.

What you gain
Everything below describes how the product works today. Nothing is a roadmap.
When a customer accepts a quote, the portal records who accepted, the exact wording they confirmed, which version of the PDF they saw and when. Revisions ask for a fresh acceptance and keep the earlier one.
Drawings, specifications and the quote itself sit together on the project. You choose which files are shared and which stay with your team.
Publish a short dated update with photos from site. Customers read it in the portal and your inbox stays quieter.
A notification bell and an action list show what is waiting: a quote decision, a payment or a setup task. Reading a notification does not tick the task off; the underlying record does.
Your logo, colours and contact details across the portal. Contractor Connect stays in the background.
Branding
Customers see your logo, colours and contact details. Contractor Connect stays in the background while the portal carries the company they hired.
Customers sign in at www.contractorconnect.co.uk/portal. Company addresses of the form yourcompany.contractorconnect.co.uk are reserved at setup but are not live yet. A custom hostname is an optional yearly add-on, billed separately from the monthly subscription and the setup fee.

Why it exists
Contractor Connect was created by Brandon, drawing on his first-hand experience running a construction and landscaping business.
Important project information tends to end up spread across emails, PDF attachments and separate conversations. Customers lose track of which quote is current, and contractors spend evenings forwarding files. Contractor Connect gives each customer one branded place for the quote, the documents and the progress, without asking the contractor to change how they price work.
Pricing
One monthly price per company for the branded customer portal, plus a one-time setup fee. No per-customer or per-project charges.
Platform subscription
£10/ month
Plus £10 one-time setup

No. Keep quoting in whatever you use today. Save or export the quote as a PDF and upload it. Contractor Connect reads the reference, date and total from a digital PDF for you to check, then publishes the PDF to your customer. There is no Xero or QuickBooks connection and nothing is written back to your accounts.
An email address and a web browser. You send an invitation from the customer's page; they open the link, create a login with that same email address (or sign in if they already have one) and land in your portal. Invitations last 7 days and work once. There is no app to install.
Yes. You add your logo, accent colour and contact details during setup. Portal appearance then lets you choose a preset (Signature, Bold or Classic), adjust colours, add a cover image and write a welcome message. Contractor Connect stays in the background.
Yes, up to 25 MB. Digital PDFs are read for the reference, date and total, and you confirm every detail before anything is published. Scanned PDFs are not read automatically at the moment; you can still upload them and type the details yourself.
You can set out a deposit, stage payments and a final balance on a project, and your customer sees them in the portal. When card payments are active on your Stripe account, the customer can pay a published stage by card. Payments go through your own Stripe account, and Stripe's processing fees apply to you in the normal way.
Yes. The owner invites team members from Company settings by sharing an invitation link. Staff can work on customers, projects, quotes, documents and updates. Billing, payment settings and company settings stay with the owner.
Cancel from Billing at any time. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed. After that the workspace pauses: you can still sign in and read your records, but your customers see a “temporarily unavailable” message until you subscribe again. The setup fee is not charged a second time.
Your customers sign in at www.contractorconnect.co.uk/portal and see your company's branding once they are in. During setup you choose a short portal name; it is reserved for a company address of its own, which is not live yet. £300 a year for one custom portal hostname. This is optional and separate from the £10 monthly subscription and the £10 setup fee.
